Agave ‘Black Widow’ (Agave schidigera)
Prized for its unusual silver-white threads that develop along the leaf edges as the plant matures, Agave 'Black Widow' makes an excellent container specimen. The dark green leaves have silver markings and grow in a wonderfully symmetrical, compact rosette reaching 12" tall x 18" wide. Each leaf has a spine at the terminal end. Grow in full-to-partial sun and water sparingly. This drought-tolerant succulent is a slow grower so it looks good in a small pot for years.
Hardy to Zone 8 and higher for outdoors.
Full or partial sun, grows to 12-15" in container, minimum temperature indoors 60°, blooms in summer.
