Bolivian Salvia (Salvia oxyphora)
This stunning flowering sage from the highlands of Bolivia is robust in both bloom and form. The broad deep green leaves create a uniform backdrop to the ever-rising clusters of fuzzy red blooms. It’s a fast grower that performs admirably in the summer season beginning to flower in late July and continuing until frost. Flower heads emerge on upright stems that put forth a dazzle of red blooms week after week.
Hardy to Zone 8 and higher for outdoors.
Full sun, grows to 2-3' in container, minimum temperature indoors 35°, Summer and Fall bloomer.
