Bougainvillea ‘California Gold’
For decades in our greenhouses, this older hybrid is still the best of the yellows. Golden yellow bracts form freely on the tips of the growing branches. We train it on a stake or pot it into a hanging basket where clusters of golden blooms cascade from the vining stems. Remember to stress a little with dryness and grow it in full sun.
Hardy to Zone 9 and higher for outdoors.
Full sun, grows to 2-3’ in container, vining in habit, minimum temperature 50°, everbloomer.
Good for a hanging basket!
