Bougainvillea ‘Double Red’ (Bougainvillea hybrid)
If red is your color, this hybrid is for you. Large puffs of brilliant red flowers form on the end of the vining stems. The clusters of double blooms differ from the single varieties by holding onto the plant without falling off. This gives the gardener a longer window of floral color. We grow this unusual cultivar staked, trellised or in hanging baskets. Our mother plant is never without blooms.
Hardy to Zone 9 and higher for outdoors.
Full sun, grows to 2-4' in container, vining in habit, minimum temperature 50°, everbloomer.
Good for a hanging basket!
