Brazilian Snapdragon (Otacanthus azureus)
An abundant producer of blue snapdragon-like flowers, this vigorous Brazilian plant flowers most of the year, even under the short days of fall and late winter. Its growth habit is under 2’ tall and even after a pruning, it comes back quickly into bloom. As a cut flower, the stems add a beautiful blue to arrangements, plus, the foliage has an aromatic herb fragrance.
Hardy to Zone 10 and higher for outdoors.
Full or partial sun, grows to 1-2' in container, minimum temperature indoors 60°, intermitent bloomer.
