Orchid Cactus ‘Pink’ (Epiphyllum hybrid)
They’re perfect for growing close to a window in an arid atmosphere - even that out-of-the-way place where they might be subjected to a little neglect. Putting out splendorous 4" blooms that emerge from the thin cactus-like stems, these plants don’t mind an occasional drought, though they do prefer to be wetter in summer and drier in winter. If your space is limited, they do exceptionally well in hanging baskets where their enormous blooms are exquisitely displayed.
Hardy to Zone 10 and higher for outdoors.
Partial sun, grows to 1-2’ in container, trailing in habit, minimum temperature 35°, blooms in spring.
