Pink Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi ‘Ruby Red’)
Grapefruit in a pot becomes a possibility with the outstanding ornamental appeal and delicious pink flesh fruit of this well known variety. It makes the most delightful potted specimen. With a well branched growth habit, fruiting easily remains contained. The flowers are intensely fragrant bringing waves of sensual delight in mid-winter. The ruby red of commerce holds its fruit well throughout the winter months.
Hardy to Zone 9 and higher for outdoors.
Full sun, grows to 1-3’ in container, minimum
temperature 50° for indoors, blooms in winter.
