Sansevieria ‘Desertii’ “Rhino-Grass”
Sansevierias are desert plants and are indestructible houseplants that thrive on neglect. ‘Desertii’, a Logee’s exclusive, is a rare species collected from the Kalahari Desert in Africa. This hard succulent has erect, dark green leaves with a sunburnt reddish hue. Juvenile leaves grow sideways and show off their arching stems. ‘Desertii’ will mature into a 1-2’ tall specimen but can also be maintained in a small pot for indoor culture. Give full sun to partial shade and water only twice a month. Grow in well-drained soil and do not over water.
Hardy to Zone 10 and higher for outdoors.
Full to partial sun, grows to 12" in container, minimum temperature indoors 40°, blooms in summer.
