Split Rock (Pleiospilos nelii)
Looking like a speckled green rock with a perfect split down the middle, this unusual succulent from South Africa attracts the attention of young and old alike. New leaves arise from the center of the split and the older leaves eventually die-back. A fancy yellow flower tinged with orange arises in early summer. Water sparingly during fall and spring and keep dry the remainder of the year. Shipped in a 2.5” terracotta pot for good drainage.
Hardy to Zone 10 and higher for outdoors.
Full sun, grows to 2-3" in container, blooms in Spring and Summer.
