Variegated Citron (Citrus medica variegata)
An outstanding ornamental display of variegated fruit and foliage along with a strong resilient nature make this Variegated Citron perfect for any potted garden. The fruit is the size and color of a lemon and often marked with dark green striping. The thick leaves have a mottling of white with light and dark green shades and gray overtones. A vigorous plant in growth habit and fruit production, it flowers on-and-off throughout the year. Although mostly grown for its ornamental appeal, its rind is sometimes candied.
