Wax Plant ‘Subspecies’ (Hoya australis) Ease of culture and reliable flowering characterize this species. It also tops the list for fragrance, flower size and robust growth. Sweetly scented blooms emerge in clusters up to 3’’ in diameter throughout the summer season. When it’s not in bloom, the large, oval, light green leaves add a breath of life to the indoor living space. One of the many rules of the indoor garden is that anyone can grow a Hoya. Their tolerance for neglect is legendary. (Formerly listed as Hoya australis, it is now classified as a subspecies of H. australis.)
Hardy to Zone 10 and higher for outdoors.
Partial sun, grows to 2-3' in container, vining in habit, minimum temperature 60°, blooms in summer.

Love this one... |
| This hoya is blooming right now March in NH and it is fabulously fragrant. The plant is a beauty as well. Logees, please start growing more Hoyas - they are super easy plants to grow and reward one with beautiful and many times fragrant flowers. |

| I love this plant. Its leave are so beautiful. The flowers have sweet scent. I grow it near window for houseplant in winter. I put it outside in summer. |
