Zamioculcas zamiifolia“ZZ Plant” "Houseplant of the Year"
Ideal for low light conditions where few other plants thrive, the “ZZ Plant” is beautiful and requires little care. The dark green, shiny, alternate leaves grow on stout, fleshy stalks that are swollen at the base. Growing from an underground rhizome that stores water, the “ZZ Plant" is extremely tolerant to drought and low light conditions. This indestructible houseplant has an almost prehistoric appearance! It’s an excellent container plant for interiorscapes and was named “Houseplant of the Year” for its ease of growing and unusual beauty.
Hardy to Zone 10 and higher for outdoors.
Partial sun or shade, grows to 2' in container, minimum temperature indoors 40°.

| I have this plant sitting on a dresser under a solar tube in my bathroom. No windows in the room.It looks fabulous. Shiny dk green leaves on thick flshy stems. I water it sparingly to keep it from growing too fast. I gave one to my daughter for her school room. It really is indestructable. |
