From northern India comes this rare rhizomatous
species which has caught everyone’s
attention for its compact size and uniquely colored
leaves. Perfect for a gardener’s windowsill or great as
a terrarium plant, Begonia burkillii thrives in partial
sun to shade with a little extra humidity. The mature
leaves are only 2” across with an attractive light green
and brown mottling. Its mounding habit reaches 6-8”
in height and the variability of leaf color keeps the
