Join the coffee craze and produce your own coffee beans! Arabica is the coffee of commerce and produces red, pulpy berries on an upright shrub. And if the berries don’t attract enough attention, then the fragrant white blooms nestled among shiny green leaves surely will. We also like to use Coffee as a fragrant foliage plant to fill a room. Place in a bright window and soon you’ll be harvesting your own beans.

Coffees make great house plants. I live in Maine and getting these buggers to grow took some practice. I found that they can stay outside in full sun, all summer. During the winter it's best to place a clear plastic bag around them, keeping in the humidity. They will let you know when they need water. their leaves will weep and feel like tissue paper.
