Double, cherry-red flowers have a feathered white edge around each petal adding to its visual appeal. Long, elongated leaves emerge from stems on the thickened caudex during the warm and sunny summer months. Adeniums grow quickly in full sun with steady water and fertilizer. Once the short, cooler winter days arrive, the plant goes into a rest period when it still needs bright light but less water and fertilizer. ‘Sweetheart’ is a ready-to-bloom, two-year-old, grafted plant with a thickened caudex.
