when the soil is visually dry; don’t over water.
Fertilizer:
Go
easy on the fertilizer. Apply monthly or bi-monthly.
Fertilize with ˝ tsp/gallon of a balanced fertilizer (ie: 5-10-3,
7-9-5, 10-10-10). Excessive fertilization can create
difficulties in culture. Feed from spring to late summer.

to most insects; occasional mealy bug problems. They are resistant to
root disease.
