Light:

Full sun (southern exposure).  Keep in a sunny spot.

Temperature:

Maintain indoor temperatures above 65° F, especially during the winter.

Humidity:

Preferably 50% or higher; however, they will tolerate low levels of humidity for a short time.

Watering:

Bring soil to visual dryness in between waterings.  When watering, thoroughly saturate the soil until a little water runs out of the bottom of the pot.  Try not to put plants into a severe wilt.  A slight wilt will do no harm.

Fertilizer:

They are moderate feeders especially when grown under high light:  ½ tsp/gallon once a month with a balanced fertilizer during the summer or when growing actively.  Stop the feed in the winter.

Pruning:

Prune during active growth if the plants get too tall.

During times of high temperature and low humidity they are susceptible to spider mites.  They are highly susceptible to root disease in the winter months.
