Guavas are easy-to-grow for even beginning fruit gardeners and ‘Thai White’ is no exception. The softball-sized fruit has green bumpy skin and the inner flesh is whitish-yellow and crispy like an apple. It has very few, edible seeds. Some people quarter the fruit and eat it like an apple, or shred it into salads with green papaya, or pickle it. Unlike ‘Ruby Supreme,’ the ‘Thai White’ fruit is crispy and not as juicy. It flowers and fruits in 60 day cycles. ‘Thai White’ requires little maintenance to grow. Provide full sun for maximum fruiting. When grown as a container plant, prune the shrub to create a full bushy plant to maximize fruit production.

Received this together with my ruby supreme early summer2016. It was shorter than my ruby supreme but it is surely out producing it. This little tree has so many guavas on it to the point that I'm concerned. As with my ruby supreme I was pleasantly surprised that it is producing the same summer I got. I hope it winters well in the house. (Posted on 8/11/2016)
