Hawaiian Bell Vine (Stictocardia maculosoi)
Add a colorful flare with this vigorous growing vine. Covering any trellis in one season, the non-stop show of flowers starts in late fall and lasts through winter into spring. A freer flower than our popular Stictocardia beravinensis ‘Hawaii’ and more dramatic in its intensity of color and form. The flowers reach 2” across in diameter. If grown outside, the Hawaiian Bell Vine will easily cover a rail, fence or lattice support in a season. In the south, it puts on a great show in late fall. To enhance blooms, do not overfeed and remember it’s the shortening daylength of fall that stimulates bud formation.
