Ruellia colorata (Ruella species)
Rare and hard-to-find, Ruellia colorata has bright reddish-orange blooms that form on the terminal ends of the shoots during the winter and spring and again in fall. Flowers last for several weeks and resemble a cooked lobster claw. Grow in bright filtered light and well-drained fertile soil. Prune back immediately after flowering to encourage side branching and more floral shoots. This is a photo of the plant you will be receiving. They are blooming now.
