White Bells Hoya (Hoya danumensis)

White Bells Hoya (Hoya danumensis)

This rare, new hoya species from Borneo has beautiful, white, shiny, 1” cupped blossoms that appear in clusters of 8-10 flowers. The flowers are lightly fragrant and it blooms freely during the summer months. The broad, leathery green leaves grow from thin, wiry stems, which add to its vigor as a proficient climber. It is a strong grower that does well in the indoor environment tolerating low soil moisture and dry air like so many in the genus.
