Ant Plant is a
Southeast Asian epiphyte
that’s easy to grow, only
needing water once the top
of the soil has dried to the
touch. It grows well in a north
or east-facing window, where
it gets moderate light. In its
native habitat, it provides
housing for ant colonies
since small pathways in the
bulbous caudex create an ant
condo. Both the plant and
the ants stay healthy in this
symbiotic relationship. Ant
Plant is sometimes referred
to as Maze Plant because of
the corridors in the caudex.
