Argentine Ball (Deuterocohnia brevifolia)

Argentine Ball is a dry land terrestrial bromeliad that’s native to Argentina and Bolivia. It matures into a dense symmetrical mound of tiny 1” rosettes creating an attractive potted plant or rock garden feature in warm zones. The leaves are bristly and tough and small green flowers arrive in spring. Slow growing, it does best in full or partial sun and likes a period of dryness between watering. It makes a perfect potted plant for a bright window or sunroom.
