Ease of culture and reliable flowering characterize this species. Hoya 'Subspecies' also tops the list for fragrance, flower size and robust growth. Sweetly scented blooms emerge in clusters up to 3’’ in diameter throughout the summer season. When it’s not in bloom, the large, oval, light green leaves add a breath of life to the indoor living space. One of the many rules of the indoor garden is that anyone can grow a Hoya. Their tolerance for neglect is legendary. (Formerly listed as Hoya australis, it is now classified as a subspecies of Hoya australis.)
