When we
saw this cute little
banana growing
in Hawaii on the
side of Haleakala at
about 1700 foot elevation,
we knew we
had to offer it to our
customers. It grows
to 3’ tall and 3’ wide
with attractive foliage
that has varying
red streaks when
the plant is young.
The gardener that
showed us his plant
collection had just
harvested the small,
but edible, dwarf bananas. ‘Poquito’s bananas are shown in the inset photo
and according to our friend, they are deliciously sweet.
