Gasteria ‘Ox Tongue’ (Gasteria verrucosa species)
This easy-to-grow succulent is native to South Africa and has short, rigid leaves shaped like a small ox tongue with white spots and all. The leaves are arranged opposite one another and in early spring, flower spikes appear with pink pouch-like blooms. Grow in well-drained cactus soil and don’t over-water. Gasteria is ideal for beginning gardeners or those looking for easy care plants.
