Fragrant salmon-pink flowers adorn this Ginger Lily from late summer through fall and the blossoms have an exquisite honeysuckle scent. 'Elizabeth' is a fast-growing plant with long lance-shaped leaves that sends up a flower sheath at the terminal end of the stem. The bloom cluster is 8-12" long and flowers emerge continually over a couple of weeks. Ginger Lily is a rhizomatous perennial. In colder norther zones, the large potted plant may be overwintered indoors or in a greenhouse. You can also store the rhizome in a cool, dry location for winter similar to a canna bulb.
