Hibiscus ‘Delta Dawn’ (Hibiscus rosa- sinensis hybrid)
‘Delta Dawn’ is a rare new Cajun hibiscus hybrid with a striking floral color combination. The heart of the 7” bloom is scarlet-red. This transitions to lovely lavender petals and gray and pale yellow on the frilly petal edges. Like all hibiscus, grow in full sun with plenty of water and fertilizer to encourage maximum blooming.

Special note about Hibiscus flowers: Logee’s is proud to offer many unusual and vibrantly colored Hibiscus varieties. Flower color can vary depending on cultural issues like full or partial sun, if it’s a first or second day flower (colors sometimes change on the second day or become more muted), or even if the plant is young or mature. Please be aware that these color changes are normal.

Tips for Success:

• Sun, sun and more sun.

• They are warm-growing plants and suffer if subjected to
cool temperatures over extended periods. As a rule, keep
temperatures above 65°F, especially in the winter.

• Water on visual soil dryness or plant wilt. Severe wilt can hurt
them. Careful watering is critical during the winter or anytime
when the light level is low and temperatures are cool.

• Under high light and warm temperatures they are
  heavy feeders
and need a balanced fertilizer applied
on a regular basis. A fertilizer like Dyna Gro “Grow” 7-9-5 will
  help induce blooms.

• Flowering varies widely between varieties. Full sun, warm
temperatures, a balanced fertilizer and careful attention to
watering will produce the best results for your hibiscus.

  1. Beautiful Flowers Review by AH
How do you rate this product?

Ordered in the Spring of 2018, First blooms in late summer. September 2018 it is really sending out blooms (Central Texas). Blooms look just like the photo, very nice plant for a balcony compact and grows upright, leafs looks really cool nice color green. Thank you Logee's for quality products. Buy most of my plants from Logee's have not been disappointed except for the one I left in the mail box too long. That being my own fault. (Posted on 10/6/2018)

How do you rate this product?

I purchased this Hibiscus last spring (2017) and waited for buds to form. It's flowered and has one open now, and several buds forming (mid August) and the blossoms are fantastic. I wish I could add photos, one was over 6 inches across and exactly as pictured. They have lasted two full days, might last three indoors away from wind and weather. Very tropical looking, I think my friends are weary of my photos on Facebook. I can't stop looking at it. (Posted on 8/16/2017)
