Lavender ‘Platinum Blonde’ p.p. (Lavandula angustifolia hybrid)
‘Platinum Blonde’ is a striking new lavender variety that’s gaining attention for its attractive gray-green leaves with creamy-yellow variegation all along the leaf margins. In summer, fragrant, lavender- blue flowers rise over the foliage on tall stems and it creates a beautiful specimen for a container or garden bed. Lavender flowers are sought-after for their delightful scent. Hardy in zones 6-9, ‘Platinum Blonde’ is probably hardy in zone 5 with a thick layer of mulch for winter protection.

  1. Beautiful foliage Review by Valerie
How do you rate this product?

This variety of lavender has gorgeous leaves. It has only been growing for about 6-8 weeks, so I can't say anything about the flowers. The plant is in a five inch planter and has very lush and bushy growth, even though it is only about eight inches tall. I am in zone 4, so it will come inside during the winter. I would recommend this plant. It is beautiful. (Posted on 8/31/2017)
