Logee's Customer Appreciation Weekend - Friday, Oct 5 - Monday, Oct 8, 2018:

10% OFF everything in-store all weekend long, in Logee's Retail Store and Greenhouses. Free behind-the-scenes greenhouse tours & free classes.*

 

-Saturday, October 6: 
     12:30 pm - 1:30 pm - Behind the Scenes Tour (No RSVP, First Come Basis) 
Learn the history of Logee’s. View the Ponderosa Lemon Tree, which has been growing in the same spot since 1900. Walk through our Big House where you’ll see camellias, Angel’s Trumpet plants, Calamondin oranges, a kumquat tree, and epiphyllums. Visit our Fern House and Potting Shed and see our giant staghorn ferns and our everblooming hibiscus ‘The Path,’ as well as other interesting vining plants. Get a tour of our new state-of-the-art Propagation Facility and our mother plant Begonia House, closed to the public except for our “Customer Appreciation Days” attendees. (Free)

     2:00 pm - 3:00 pm - Herbs for Winter Health with Eliza Travisano (Limit 20) Get ready for the winter cold and flu season with mainstay herbs that will help heal and build your immune system. Come learn with Herbalist and Botanical medicine specialist, Eliza Travisano how to use many Logee’s Plants including Elder, Rosemary and Lemon Balm to support your health all winter long. (Free)

 

-Sunday, October 7: 
     10:30 am - 11:30 am - Orchids: Culture and Care with Byron Martin (Limit 20) Orchid care was the most requested class from last year’s survey so we are offering a basic class about orchids: potting, re-potting, re-blooming, cultural needs and seasonal care. Many types of orchids will be discussed including Phalaenopsis, Cattleya, Oncidiums, Phaius, Miltonias, Dendrobiums and terrestrial Jewel orchids. (Free)

     10:30 am - 11:30 am - Create Your Own Terrarium with Retail Grower, Danny Briere (Limit 15) Create your own terrarium. This includes the terrarium kit- glass container, rocks, charcoal. Plus, 3 or 4 miniature terrarium plants or mini succulents are included. Other plants will be available for purchase. Either way you will go home with a stunning terrarium to keep for yourself or give away as a one of a kind gift. (*$29.95 Materials fee - Click here to pay and reserve your spot.)
