Logee's 5th Annual Summer Solstice

125 Years

Join us on June 16, 2018 from 10am-4pm for Logee's 5th Annual Summer Solstice event.

In celebration of this special time of year at the height of the growing season, Logee’s invites you to experience the joy of rare and exotic plants. Bring your family and friends, and spend a day exploring a botanical paradise.

In addition to the 6 fantastic retail greenhouses, Logee’s will open up the seldom seen production greenhouses, for behind-the-scenes tours of our working propagation facilities.

Byron Martin, Logee’s 3rd generation owner and renowned horticulturist, will present informative demonstrations on highly-requested topics such as grafting and pruning techniques.

Local breweries will serve refreshments to complement delicious lunch options from an array of food vendors. Our pop-up artisan marketplace will feature one-of-a-kind goods, hand-made crafts, and enticing specialty gift-items.

Dance to the irresistible sounds of live bluegrass & jam music performed by the Farnum Brothers Band while soaking up the summer sun and enjoying the festivities. For a moment of blissful contemplation, walk the seven-circuit labyrinth designed as a pollinator garden, or enjoy a relaxing back massage in the tranquil shade of the trees.

Logee’s is not just a 19th century historic greenhouse set in the heart of New England; it’s a must-see destination for any plant lover. Worth the drive from anywhere, Logee’s is a hidden gem you’ll be glad to discover. Logee’s retail store and 6 retail greenhouses are open daily, year-round.
