Boldly
patterned
leaves are
green with
yellow stripes
throughout.
The variegation
is unique, so no
two leaves are
alike. It makes
an attractive
container plant
for northern
zones or it’s
winter hardy in
zones 8-10 so it
can be grown in
outdoor landscapes.
It blooms in the summer on old growth and produces cascading racemes
of white, seashell-shaped flowers at the ends of the leafy stems. The flowers are
lightly fragrant. Variegated Shell Ginger creates a colorful accent in any garden.
