Fragrant Jewel Orchid (Sarcoglottis sceptroides)
Native to Belize, this Jewel Orchid grows as a terrestrial plant in full shade under the tree canopy. The leaves are green with silver spotting and stripes. Blooming during the winter/early spring season, 16-20” tall flower spikes are adorned with up to
20 blooms. The blossoms have a spicy fragrance and are green turning to gold as they age. For best results, grow in a warm, shady location in moist sphagnum moss.

Hardy to Zone 9 and higher for outdoors.
Shade, grows 6" in container, minimum temperature indoors 40°, blooms in spring and winter.
