When to Plant Hardy Perennials |
| You can request
a “Hold Order” for Hardy Perennials and we will ship them
when it’s planting time in your zone. Otherwise, Hardy
Perennials can be kept in a cool or cold spot like an unheated
garage, cool cellar or outbuilding. Cover the pot and soil
with insulating material (burlap, clean rags, newspaper) and
check the soil every 2-3 weeks to make sure it doesn’t dry
out completely. In the spring, plant as soon as the ground
is open and no longer frozen. Dormant plants can endure
freezing temperatures in the spring as long as the plant
remains dormant without any green buds. |

Kaffir Lime (Citrus hystrix) |
Kaffir Lime (Citrus hystrix)
Highly sought after, this useful citrus tree is most often used for its aromatic leaves. If creative cooking appeals to your senses then you won’t want to be without Kaffir Lime in your collection. The popular Tom Yam soup in southeast Asian food would not be the same without the Kaffir Lime leaves. The leaves add the lemony flavor to foods while the rough skin that covers the fruit is used as a rind in curries. The plant has a spreading to sprawling habit and its shiny leaves are curiously segmented. This is a strong grower that is adaptable to varying cultural environment.
Hardy to Zone 9 and higher for outdoors.
Full sun, grows to 1-3’ in container, minimum temperature indoors 50°, blooms in spring.

Easy to grow, fun to have |
| I bought the 2.5 plants but put my review on the bigger sizes page by mistake. Briefly they are 22 inches tall after 15 months in NC - zone 8. No need to bring inside last year due to mild winter. |

amazing tree |
| I purchased this tree during summer time...and arrive during the peak of hot season. We live in Idaho, I was having doubt if the plant could survive during cold winter. Since September, I moved the tree in to the house and place it by the window where it can receive the full amount of sunshine. The tree has been growing bigger and bigger each day :
Thank you for Logees who had provided such an amazing baby tree and definitely I would purchase more plants from your company.. |

Thrives indoors! A real gem! |
| I live in central Indiana and bought the larger size tree because I wanted the leaves for Thai cooking. Ive had this plant for a year, taking it outdoors during the summer, and its thriving as if it were a native to the area! It arrived in great condition, just as the other reviewer described, and continues to do extremely well. Ive already pruned leaves off for cooking and theyre as delicious as the plant is beautiful! If you enjoy Asian cuisine I fully recommend having this gem in your kitchen! |

Excellent plant quality |
| I ordered the smallest plant to experiment how this will do indoors as I heard its better to train a small plant for indoors. I am in zone 7, Richmond VA and can put it out in summer.
Regardless how small, I was awed by the quality of the plant . Each single leaf of the plant is jade green and healthy. The whole plant itself in its tiny container is healthy. Really healthy.
Email me if you have doubts. mstarceo@yahoo.com will be glad to answer your questions. |
