when it’s planting time in your zone. Otherwise, Hardy
Perennials can be kept in a cool or cold spot like an unheated
garage, cool cellar or outbuilding. Cover the pot and soil
with insulating material (burlap, clean rags, newspaper) and
check the soil every 2-3 weeks to make sure it doesn’t dry
out completely. In the spring, plant as soon as the ground
is open and no longer frozen. Dormant plants can endure
freezing temperatures in the spring as long as the plant
remains dormant without any green buds.
Curry Leaf (Murraya koenigii)
The famed Curry Leaf plant, native to India and Ceylon, lends its pungent scent as a main ingredient in delicious curries. The many segmented foliage is borne on a compact bush convenient for harvesting.
Hardy to Zone 9 and higher for outdoors.

The leaves smell so fragrant but the plant is a bit small. I originally wanted to purchase a larger size but Logees only have it in 2.5 pot size. Overall, Im happy with my purchase.

I love this tree!
I bought this tree over three years ago, and have never had to buy curry leaves since! That unique, nutty flavor is so good, I occasionally just eat a leaf for the flavor. And after moving it to a larger pot, it doubled in size this summer! It stays out on the deck all summer, and moves just inside the glass door when temps start to drop below 50 at night. It doesnt need much water, either.

Curry plants on the Texas gulf coast
I bought two of your plants about 8 years ago, and they continue to do very well growing in large pots in my screened atrium here in Houston, Texas. Although you mention temperature not going below 55 degrees, mine have stayed outside with covers during multiple light freezes with no apparent damage. They bloom for half the year, and self seed. Delighted with these plants!
