Purple Ruby ‘#15” is an easy grower and recommended for even beginning orchid enthusiasts. Fragrant, 5-6” flowers are deep purple with a frilly lip that has magenta and yellow highlights. It blooms in fall and there are usually 2 flowers per spike and the blooms last 2-3 weeks. This is a blooming size plant not necessarily in spike.

Tips for Success:


• They grow from rhizomes with the newest growth creating

  and then thoroughly saturate.
• These varieties need higher light than Phalaenopsis.
