Fragrant White Hibiscus (Hibiscus arnottianus ssp arnottianus)
One of the few species of hibiscus with fragrance, this clone is noted for its stunning red stamens against single white petals. A native of Hawaii, the flowers are 6” in diameter and carry a light fragrance, more noticeable in morning and evening. It’s a vigorous grower and it flowers freely for most of the year. For us in the Northeast, it stops blooming during the winter although in Hawaii it will flower year-round.
