This everblooming Jasmine has a bushy growth habit and does particularly well on windowsills. The fragrance of the white flowers clears the air and adds a touch of peaceful tranquility. Place 'Maid of Orleans' on the sill, sit in a nearby chair and breathe in its delightful scent. In Asia, jasmines are used in teas and religious observances. Also known as Arabian Tea Jasmine, it is the national flower of the Philippines, where it is known as Sampaguita.

Tips for Success:

Remember, they are warm, lowland tropical plants and need a warm root system. The most vigorous is ‘Maid of Orleans.’ Slower growing varieties are ‘Flore Plena’ and ‘Grand Duke.’• Use clay pots to maintain healthy roots.• Bring soil to visual dryness between waterings.• Occasionally bring to a slight wilt between waterings.• Moderate amounts of fertilizer, not heavy feeders.• Stop feeding in winter.• All respond well to pruning; best not to prune in winter when growth is slow.

Excellent!

Receive this plant a couple weeks ago. Arrived with blossoms open and buds that have begun to bloom. Plant was bigger than expected. This was an unexpected surprise. Walked by the plant and WOW the smell. Arrived safe and sound, packed with care. I just might get another variety of jasmine next.

Beautiful

I got the 4" pot near the end of September and put it by a sunny window in a 5" clay pot. Now it's December with its first bunch of blooms and it's doing great! Smells so good!

Near the beginning I gave it some miracle grow fertilizer but it was showing some leaf deformity (looks like Calcium deficiency) so I added some cal-mag and now it's growing perfectly.

I ordered this jasmine and it came well packaged with multiple buds already waiting to open. Transplanted into a 6" pot, put it a spot with bright indirect light and it's doing amazingly. Great, as always with Logee's

Bloomed 3 Days after Arrival

I added this jasmine to my order to justify to my wife the other plants that "mysteriously" found themselves in my cart, but it is not just my wife who is happy with this plant now! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the packing, with not a single leaf even bent, and within 3 days of it hitting my doorstep it is already blooming! I absolutely recommend this to anyone, with the bushing habit and fragrant flowers, it is no longer just a favorite of my wife's.
