I'm stunned at how beautiful the plant was on arrival! It has new growth and the soil is not dried out. I received the package yesterday. It looks very healthy.
Receved the Calamondin plant a week ago and was happy to see it already had two fruits in it. Plant is upright, green and apparent strong stems. Thank you for the care you provide for your plants.
Tovah Martin recommended this as a wonderfully fragrant plant that is among the easiest citrus to grow in the home. She is right! I received this plant with an orange already ripening on it (which eventually ripened and was delicious). Two years later, it has over a dozen ripening oranges. I have it in a southeast facing window along with all my other citrus I have purchased, courtesy of Logee's, and they are all doing well there. I have had a bit of a scale problem on my citrus (I think they would do better if my window was fully south), but it's manageable, and worth the trouble to grow citrus on my Brooklyn apartment windowsill.
I've had this plant for nine months and it grew so vigorously in the summer that I had to prune it. It is November now and it has fruits and flowers. It is currently in my garage under a grow light since I had to bring it indoors for the winter. It is in a 10'' clay pot and loving it.
The plant arrived in great shape. The leaves are dark green, I just hope I can keep them that way.
Thanks Logees!
