Citrus Shasta Gold™ Mandarin PP (Citrus reticulata hybrid)

Citrus Shasta Gold™ Mandarin PP (Citrus reticulata hybrid)

SKU: C2062-4G

4" Pot SizeGrafted Plant

Shasta Gold™ Mandarin is a new hybrid that combines many desirable features including large fruit size, rich, sweet flavor, virtual absence of seeds and a thin, deep orange rind that’s easy to peel. It starts bearing fruit in February and the fruit holds onto the tree into April or May. The sweet, juicy, 3” fruit is deep orange with a fine, delicious texture. Shasta Gold is a high yielding variety that’s ideal for a large container or home garden in southern zones. This is a grafted plant that blooms and fruits sooner. Love this little tree

I am in zone 6a so have to bring if in over the winter. Second year and it's going strong and has 6 oranges on it! Can't wait for them to ripen

Nice plant

Shipping was a on schedule, trees arrived in excellent shape. I have shopped online for plants for years and these came packed as well as any plants I have purchased from other nurseries. So happy with the trees!

Nice Plant to grow as a Bonsai

This beautiful tree arrived to my home just fine. The main trunk was trimmed to allow side branching that would make a nice bonsai. However I wish to grow it into a single stemmed "small" tree that I will trim in the near future this winter. Watch me as I train my orange into a small tree. I don't have a YouTube channel yet and will create one for this project - just search for Citrus reticulata hybrid Shasta Gold™ in a few months time.
