Clock Vine (Thunbergia battiscombei)

My first year with this gorgeous plant that has produced a continuous supply of stunning deep purple flowers with a yellow throat for the last 3 months in southern CA. Low growing and does benefit from staking as there is considerable lateral growth. The only reason for the 4/5 rating is that it is a messy plant, spilling spent flowers that stain all over the floor. But the color and abundance of blossoms makes it worth it.
