This ginger is perfect for containers reaching at 2' in height and blooming effortlessly year-round. The upright canes form in tightly held clumps and as they mature 2" red cone-like flower heads emerge from the growing tips. Orange tipped flowers poke out from the sides of the flower heads successively over a period of many weeks. A plant that does well under varying light conditions, it can be planted in the summer garden and then lifted for exotic flowers and foliage throughout the winter.
