This unusual flowering houseplant has an onion-shaped bulb that grows on the soil surface with long strappy leaves that arise from the bulb. In summer, greenish-white fragrant flowers appear on flower spikes. Many small bulbs grow at the base of the main bulb making it easy to propagate additional plants.
