This easy, vigorous grower makes a perfect houseplant with velvety leaves and fragrant white flowers sporting red centers. Each flower is almost 1” wide and they are borne in clusters that appear when the day length shortens in fall and winter. It can be grown in a pot with a trellis or in a hanging basket. The sweet scent of the flowers fills the air when Hoya calycina is in bloom.

Larger than expected, fast growing

I've had this Hoya for just over a month now and it grows like a weed! Three new leaves growing as well as a brand new peduncle. I love how pubescent this one is, it's perhaps my fuzziest Hoya. Definitely needs a trellis too, the vines are clingy!
