Lady of the Night (Brunfelsia gigantea)

This highly fragrant South American shrub has creamy-white, 2" flowers that emit an intoxicating fragrance that intensifies at night. Although slow-growing, it will bloom within a year from a young plant. Lady of the Night is an excellent potted plant with a low mounding habit and it’s almost a constant bloomer when grown in good light. If space is limited, grow as a hanging basket. We recommend this brunfelsia for your summer deck or patio where the heady fragrance will fill the night air. This strong grower is easy to over-winter as a houseplant in the sunlit window.
