Variegated Tree Ivy is one of the most famous foliage plants and has long been admired for its cream-colored leaf edges that accentuate the dark green leaves. Its upright habit and ability to grow under low light makes it a perfect houseplant to brighten up darker rooms. This intergeneric hybrid between Fatsia japonica and Hedera helix begs for a bit of dryness between waterings to keep the roots healthy. When young, you can train Tree Ivy into shapes such as columns. Simply pinch and prune as it matures and the shape will hold.
