These leaves are the darkest green imaginable. They are also covered with pink dots, as if they had been splattered by the artist’s brush. Add to this the rich maroon undersides and you have a great deal of movement in a creature so still. The color combination works remarkably well. A Walter Dworkin Hybrid.

Striking contrast, unique foliage Review by Beverly S.

I have grown 'Cracklin' Rosie' long enough to share cuttings with many gardening colleagues and family members. Its deeply pigmented foliage is a striking contrast to my other, nearby houseplants. The wavy edges of each leaf and the charming spots make it a conversation piece. I have upsized its pot twice, when it seemed crowded, not a big jump in diameter, though. Love this foliage.
