Apoballis ‘Lavallaei’ (Apoballis acuminatissima ‘Lavallaei’)
This rare aroid
has beautifully patterned
leaves with deep purple
undersides. The pointed,
green leaves have silver
mottling giving them a
camouflaged appearance.
Grow in bright, indirect
light inside the home and
keep away from hot sunlight
as this can burn the
tender leaves. If grown
outside, place in a shady
location. Apoballis prefers
high humidity and a
dilute solution of soluble fertilizer in the summer months when actively growing. Apoballis makes a wonderful houseplant since it holds up well to neglect and is easy to grow and resilient in nature.
