It’s beneficial to deadhead the faded flowers to encourage more blooming. French Perfume Jasmine flowers on the tips of new vines and should be grown in full sun on a trellis or support stake. Often seen in the perfume fields of southern France, the essential oil of this jasmine is very fragrant and used in perfumes. It can be added to bouquets for its sweet fragrance.

Remember, they are warm, lowland tropical plants and need a warm root system. The most vigorous is ‘Maid of Orleans.’ Slower growing varieties are ‘Flore Plena’ and ‘Grand Duke.’
