I bought a smaller one from another place but it didn't make it through the first winter.
I bought the bigger size from Logees and followed their directions exactly. Half perlite and half peat moss for the mix. Then I only watered it with distilled water or rain water that first winter. I kept it in a south window in a room that was around 62 on the floor in the colest part of winter- I made sure it never got bone dry(although in my experience it can handle more dry than they said). It still dropped some leaves. I called the horticulturalist at Logees and they said I should be fertilizing it all winter. So I started in March to do that. This summer we had lots of berries. I had it in full sun until about 2:00. What a hit with the kids! Love it!
I bought the smaller size, let it adapt, repotted it, and it's already flowering about two weeks later. I can barely wait to see if it holds the fruit but it's really an adorable little plant just as it is. It's flushing growth... just a real room brightener.
I ordered this plant and it arrived on time. I opened the box to find the plant perfectly packaged. When I took the plant out of the box I found it was in great condition. I would recommend Logee's to anyone. I can't wait far the plant to fruit.
I received this plant in my last order, and it is stunning. I order a lot of plants from Logee's, and am always pleased. These larger (4 inch-6 inch) plants are quite showy. This is a magnificent plant, very healthy and nicely shaped, at least 10-12 inches tall. I have only had it about a week and it doesn't have any fruit, but it is such a gorgeous plant. I can't wait till those red berries appear. Several people have already commented on what a pretty plant it is.
I got this plant with my last order as an after thought. I saw it on the website and decided it might be a cool plant to have. Upon arriving it has quickly become one of my favorites! It is bushy with a lovely shape. I am excited to see some berries!
